Protecting Your Reputation As Well As Your Business
Cal Metro’s comprehensive customer service and engagement training program, coupled with our robust supervisor oversight process, ensures that our officers are creating a welcoming environment for customers while protecting businesses. Cal Metro’s officers are trained in the de-escalation of force, including how to take a non-violent approach using verbal skills to handle violent or potentially violent situations. Held to the highest professional standards in both appearance and approach, Cambridge Security’s officers create an inviting and secure environment for customers, vendors, and associates.
Spotlight on Emerging Threats
Public spaces such as malls, shopping centers, and other retail locations, considered ‘easy and desirable’ terror targets, require a highly trained security team. With continuing education and meaningful training, Cal Metro’s officers are equipped to identify suspicious behavior and to mitigate the risk of security threats on your premises.
Our Approach Includes Building Strong Community Partnerships
Strong public and private sector partnerships are mission critical for responsible security teams. At Cal Metro, we believe that security teams operating in a silo are destined to fail. We work hard to build relationships with local law enforcement and other members of the community to keep our clients safe and their properties secure.
Cal Metro Offers Shopping Centers and Malls the following services:
Off-Site Video Surveillance. This reduces the overhead, enables more staff to be seen in the mall.
Off-Site Dispatch. We eliminated the need to have one person dedicated to answering calls and dispatching officers. This places additional people in the mall to address the needs of your environment. Our remote dispatch center receives calls for assistance from tenants, visitors, and management and dispatches via radio.
License Plate Reader Technology. Our video surveillance systems can be set up to record all vehicles that visit your center. You can see who visited your property, how often that visitor is present, how long they stay. The best part is, if a crime occurs, law enforcement can see who was present. This is a strong deterrent for criminals who know that if they visit your property and commit a crime, our system will identify them.
Develop Partnerships With Loss Prevention. Retailers may have their own in-house loss prevention staff. We provide two-way radios so they can communicate with us while they are working an arrest. This allows Cal Metro to send staff to the area to make sure the arrest does not escalate into the shopping center. In addition, we exchange and share information of known problem people among all retailers so that they can identify and prevent a situation.
